Paper Light Workshop June 29 & 30 2019 at Makerbay Central by Studio AC/AL

#Education Design Maker Culture MakerBay Talk Workshop

What if an elegant design object could be made from the tiny hands of your child? Meet the incredibly talented French Designer duo Amandine Chorr and Aissa Logerot, that we are lucky to have pass by Hong Kong this weekend.
They have prepared a beautiful yet simple design for a children workshop at MakerBay Central in PMQ. You can come with your child and walk away with a stylish and minimalist torch and a night light made of card paper. The workshop will be conducted in English (optionally in French, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi & Marathi). Please book your seat fast, we will only take 10 children per workshop.

During the talk, they will present their design works followed by a casual discussion. The talk will also be facebook live recorded and broadcast.

    Studio AC/AL Website | Instagram
Design studio founded in 2013 by Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot.
Both graduated in Industrial Design at ENSCI in Paris, they first made their own experience by working several years in design agencies and international companies. From 2009 to 2012, they have been collaborating on contemporary design projects using sustainable craft techniques in developing countries like Cambodia, Morocco and Cameroun.
The studio creates objects with the aim to reach a perfect balance between function, form and techniques of production, depending of the companies' context and know-how. Passionate for materials, crafts and industrial manufacturing processes, they draw products and furniture that valorize usefulness and the rigor of simplicity. Their precise, elegant and clean lines give their design a singular identity.
Mixing various collaborations and travel experiences, the studio likes new challenges and to work on different scales of project, from small product to interior design.
